1) On-site Judge is Cosplay law. Their final word is what goes.
2) Characters must be anime or Japanese-esque in order to compete.
3) No original characters will be permitted.
4) Cosplay must be made by the wearer. If you have bought your costume, please keep in mind that the maker must give the ok for it to be submitted and that all prizes will be sent to the maker.
5) Cosplay cannot have won prizes previously at any of the events of SoDak Con or any other Conventions.
6) Cosplay should not have been entered in more than one other SoDak Event or Con regardless if it has won or not.
7) Cosplay must be at least 70% made and not store bought.
8) There will only be 50 cosplay slots available. 10 slots are reserved for on site registration. All other slots may be filled up at any event previously posted where registration is allowed, or online.
9) If you do not show up by set time of the Mini-Con, then your slot will be added to the list to be given away.
Anyone unable to pass on-spot review at the Cosplay registration table while signing in will not be allowed to compete, and their slot shall be given away.
1) On-site Cosplay Judge is law. Whatever they say is the Final Word.
2) In order to enter a skit into this competition it must be under 2 minutes long.
3) All skits must be PG13
4) Skits should have two or more people.
5) All scripts must be submitted for approval, along with sound clips, at least one week ahead of Competition.
6) All Cosplays must fall under the same rules of the Cosplay competition list unless an outside character of some sort is vital to your skit.
7) There will only be six Cosplay Skit slots available. No slots will be saved for on site registration since there will be no on site registration for them due to the review process of scripts and sound clips.
8) Skit registration will be online and on site only at the events prior to SoDak Con.
9) Anyone unable to check in by set time will be disqualified from the competition. All persons of skit must be present in order to check in.
Anyone unable to follow these rules will be disqualified.
1) Onsite judge has final say.
2) All art must be drawn by the one submitting the art.
3) Only one piece of artwork will be allowed per Artist.
4) Artwork must be original.
5) Artwork must be submitted under the correct categories.
6) There will be no limit on how many artists can enter. All slots are on-site.
7) Please do not sign the front of your artwork. The back is fine so long as it is not in view.
8) Please make sure all artwork is mounted one way or another.
9) Please no sketches or unfinished pictures.
Anyone unable to submit artwork following these rules will be turned away.
